Lim Li Ching
Lim Li Ching has a B.Sc. in Ecology and an M.Phil. in Development Studies. She is a Senior Researcher at Third World Network (TWN), an international NGO based in Malaysia, and coordinates its Biosafety and Sustainable Agriculture Programmes. Li Ching is a member of the International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food). She is a Senior Fellow at the Oakland Institute, and on the Advisory Board of Health of Mother Earth Foundation, Nigeria.She was a lead author of the East and South Asia and the Pacific sub-global report of the International Assessment on Agricultural Science, Technology and Knowledge for Development (IAASTD). She has contributed to various international publications on sustainable agriculture (e.g. by UNESCAP, UNEP, UNCTAD). She is co-editor of Biosafety First: Holistic Approaches to Risk and Uncertainty in Genetic Engineering and Genetically Modified Organisms (Tapir Academic Press, 2007), and Climate Change and Food Systems Resilience in Sub-Saharan Africa (FAO, 2011).
